Anti-mask posts are NOT allowed per the Community Director
Many threads are being coopted by users ranting against mask usage, calling COVID a conspiracy or a lie, encouraging flouting of mask and other policies, etc.
it is not only offensive to those of us who have lost loved ones due to the pandemic, but is an awful look for Flyertalk. While the choice to continue to travel in the pandemic is nominally an individual one in some countries, the encouragement of violating laws-including public health orders- should not be tolerated.
Many people have valid questions about mask policies and usage; but it is clear when antimaskers are simply spreading propaganda. If they insist on doing so, perhaps OMNI/PR or a dedicated antimasker space.
The "efficacy" of mask usage is not what is being debated. Rather, individuals with political agendas are violating the law and bragging about it on Flyertalk.
By allowing such posts to exist, Flyertalk moderation contributes to people dying.

A bad post report to the Forum moderators (or to the four Senior Moderators in the case of fora without appointed moderators) from the post violating the FlyerTalk Rules or the policy above should have the issue resolved. In case the issue continues unaddressed,
We will close this thread now, as the Community Director has clarified the actions to be taken.
