Create Root Forum by Airplane Model

It would be great to have a root forum that is for discussion of different model airplanes. Then have subforums for each model, such as 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, 787, etc. We could discuss different layouts, flight characteristics, etc.

IMHO ----> Nope. Too many variations with the different airlines. Layouts get discussed (too much) in the airline subforums

That is exactly the reason to put some of those posts by airplane instead of by airline. If you group A320 configurations of different airlines in one place, you can clearly make the airlines compete against each other. Reveal in a clear and direct way which first class/business class/economy plus/economy products are better, across all airlines that use a specific model plane.

That also has the benefit of cleaning up the airline-specific forums, which you are conceding have too many of these discussions.

Too many forums already so wouldn't like to see FT further segmented by aircraft.

No, I don't think good idea. Too many forums! That won't be necessary.
