HK Express to be added to the Cathay Pacific forum [done]
 

As you may know, HK Express was purchased by Cathay Pacific this year. There isn’t much/any discussion of HK Express in the “other Asian airlines” forum, but I would like to suggest that we formally designate the Cathay Pacific forum as the place to discuss anything related to HK Express.

This suggestion will be open for discussion until 28 November.

Agree, just to be consistent with SQ (Scoot) and QF (Jetstar).

UO is still operationally very independent of CX ATM, but so is TR and SQ. Think it'll help newcomers or to know where to look for UO info.

Thanks sxc for the suggestion. I concur; since the acquisition by Cathay Pacific, interest in HK Express has grown and will no doubt continue to grow as we speculate on new routes. Starting next year, once HK Express is included into the Asia Miles program, I expect a lot more discussion and questions on earning and burning miles.

It will be very messy if they are all cluttered into "Other Asian Airlines" or the CX forum.

I'm not sure I will buy UO fares for AM tho, it's like consolation prize for being fleeced into buying a sucker fare.

Probably good to sticky it so it jumps out being there in the first few weeks.
