Lifetime stays and nights now showing on SPG.com (merged threads)

Logged into my account and can now can see total life time nights and stays. Is Starwood contemplating life time status?

wow, I had no idea: Platinum Preferred Guest: 235 stays and 498 nights since you joined in 1998!

Neat Trivia

This information is neat trivia, but for me, when this information was added to my account page, the number of stays I need to maintain platinum status for this year also increased by 30, requiring a total of 48.

See an image of my account page here

Anyone else noticing this error?

Hopefully this glitch is fixed soon!

Hit Refresh

This is the joy of not refreshing the main forum page for a few hours... you sometimes miss a thread or two.

Since 1994, you have a total of 263 stays and 613 nights.

Never realised I am approaching 2 years of sleeping at Starwoods.

More importantly from Starwood's perspective, I have probably spent about $100k with them. Which, over 15 years, isn't that much for the benefits I have come to expect. I am sure there are wedding receptions that have spent more.

didn't realise i spent 458 nights in starwood hotels since 2006....no wonder my family complains they hardly ever see me....

TrojanHorse Jul 18, 2009 5:29 am

i'm primarily a one and done guy ie, qualify by stays, it says my nights are 60 more than stays which I find hard to believe unless it includes awards

just noticed it even has the wrong year on the Since xxxx; its jipping me out of two years

Now, we clearly knew SPG had kept those information.
SPG might have $ based information as well.
Those data could be used for upgrade priority, target promotion and all other marketing tools.

My record shows "since 1992" which I even did not notice myself.
In 2012, I hope SPG will give me 20 years annivasary gift:p.

After about 9 years of just about weekly travel, I got off the road for a couple of months earlier this year, and my wife's complaint was about my being around so much!

Anyway, I think this is cool to be able to see what we've "accomplished" over the years. Mine is '339 stays and 453 nights since you joined in 2000'. I'd now love to know the Hilton, Hyatt and Marriott totals as well!

I love the new format.

Marriott will tell you if you call

they have lifetime status at set thresholds

1143 stays and 1586 nights since you joined in 1992

This includes only about 25 nights from 1992 to 1997 (when I was a Holiday Inn frequent guest). The other 1,500+ nights are from the twelve years since then.

Starwood has been very good to me and that is why I keep coming back.
