Serfty, having keenly followed your travels on Qantas FF forum, I'd have thought you'd be Starwood Plat??!?

Do you credit elsewhere, or not use hotels much?

I thought it interesting that of my 115 stays (131 nights), only 16 of those were for more than one evening (this assumes that there were no paid stays for more than 2 nights). Lots O' One nighters for this guy.

When did SPG start?

I'm at 346 stays and 578 nights since 1997.

I thought SPG began in 1998? I was a member of the Westin and Sheraton programs before SPG began, but what are the measuring exactly pre-1998?

Lifetime Stays & Nights

i found this in my SPG account summary:

Since xxxx, you have a total of xx stays and xx nights
at "?" , it shows :
Lifetime Stays & Nights
Lifetime stays and nights may include some ineligible SPG stays.

how long it started? i never notice it before. any purposes for this? just for information?

I'm one of those guys who just barely requalifies each year and I only started in 2003 with SPG, so just about 100 stays and not many more nights so far...but funny info - I would like to see the same for Hyatt and Hilton...would be a lot more there. All in all, this reminds me that of the last 5 years, I probably spent at least 1 year in hotels - quite a bit. Not sure if that's positive or negative...I guess both .

I can't figure out why Starwood doesn't show detailed stay information going all the way back, instead of just the totals. I'll even buy them the hard disk to store it.

It's even less for me (I'm Platinum a few years running). Just not that much revenue for a large business. Which does provide a new perspective for those times when I'm feeling a bit entitled...

Question Reaching 1000 nights

When my last stay processes, I will have reached the 1000 nights level. Are there threshold gifts for this?

Great idea, canuk.

But no gifts unfortunately.

253 stays and 402 nights since 1988

Being elite member of several Frequent Guests programs I have relatively few stays considering it goes back to 1988.
What I don't understand however is thet my SPG membership card bears the mention "10 Years member" although it has been 21 years.
Not that it matters much but it's strange.

Anyone else has a discrepancy as well?
