If one wants a large tub then you should get a Strip Suite. The "Opulent Round Oversized Soaking Tub" will hold 4. I can't locate my pic of the tub.

I have had both-and the round tub-while large-is not very deep. And takes a lot of water to fill if you are bathing alone(unfortunately usually the case for me ) and I just HATE the fact that you cannot close the bathroom door.
My favorite room is still the Vista-and I have often turned down a suite in exchange.

Contrary to the Westin, we had a great stay at the PH. I was checking in with another Platinum with 2 separate reservations. The helpful agent offered us 2renovated suites on a high floor. I told him to give the suite to my friend (and her bf ) and that I would just take whatever other best room that they had with 2 beds so I didn't have to share a bed with my friend. He immediately offered a renovated resort room with a nice strip view.
Our experience was fantastic ^ We bypassed the check in line that was literally a mile long ^ A 4pm late check out was granted ^

It was post-renovation. I hadn't been in a renovated resort room and renovated suite until this stay. It was nicely done although my room was Patrick Swayze themed and they put the underwear wore on set in the little illuminated shrine in my room. LOL it was hilarious. My friend's suite was the Brady Bunch themed
I have to say though, there are still many other properties on the strip that are way better than PH. However, with the VIP check in, VIP buffet, and late check out benefit alone (not even considering the upgrades) make the stay worthwhile.

By the way, what's the room# of the newly crowned BlissWorld Suite?

Come again?
LOL
Actually, I told my friend to take the suite while I took the resort room with 2 queens because I had another friend with me. The suite my friend had was 2551. Some pics to come later

This past weekend was my first stay at the PH and my 3rd stay anywhere since becoming Plat. The check-in process was a pleasant experience and the agent was very helpful. We were upgraded to a nice renovated 1-king suite overlooking the strip, thanks to BlissWorld. The separate SPG Plat/Gold check-in line probably saved us about 30-40 minutes; the regular line was ridiculously long.
We spent most of the time out and about, but our in-hotel experiences were positive overall: Comfy accomodations, reasonably priced and strong drinks at the Heart Bar, decent selections at the Spice Market buffet.
I'd definitely recommend PH several times over the Westin to anyone thinking about staying with SPG in Vegas. The difference is beyond night and day.

I forgot to mention. The regular line, like i love snowboarding had pointed out, was really long. It was seriously no shorter than a few hundred feet long with people wrapped around to the casino.
When I was checking in at the VIP desk, this guy came over and asked:
"Is this line for American Express Gold?"
Bwahahahaha
DENIED! The agent who checked me in told him whom the line was for

The PH VIP line is a lifesaver - even without the upgrades, just being able to shave an hour off the check-in time is a worthy benefit.
If they added some type of enhanced or priority access to the valet system, that would be even better - for example, being able to pull right up to the door and bypass the waiting line, and being able to call down to the valet desk and have your car brought out within 10 minutes or less regardless of how busy they are.

Any charges for In-room Safe
Not sure if this is the right place to post...but here is my question -
Are there any extra charges to use In-room safe. I was thinking to get the laptop and just use it ocassionally to access free wifi in The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Miracle Mile Shops.
If there are extra charges how much are they?
Also, do all rooms have in-room safe..we will most likely stay in standard room and I dont expect to get any kind of upgrade since i dont have any status with spg (though I am a member ). Only thing I am hoping is that they will give us non-smoking rooms.

Thanks for the pics ^. Well I guess I could try that pic you suggest .
However we could just spend our TV time soaking in the tub if we are lucky enough to get the Resort Vista . Hopefully its a big tub .
Bseller is on the money . If the tub is small, there will be an issue as I love a good soak while sipping champagne and watching a huge TV . Makes note to limber up if contortionist skills are required

I didn't think any of the suites had 2 beds rather than a king but my PH host has said I can book a Panorama suite with 2 queen beds in the main bedroom (ie not including the connecting room).
The website says king bed and when I've stayed in a Panorama, it's always been a king. Has anyone seen one with 2 queen beds? She says she has booked one for me, even though I pointed out what the website says.
