Cancelled bookings that reappear

Cancelled bookings that reappear
I had two booking for today at the Sheraton Media Jakarta that I cancelled at the beginning of the month shortly after I made them.
When I checked spg.com yesterday the bookings had reappeared so, I cancelled them again. Luckily I made a note of the cancellation numbers because when I checked spg.com today they had reappeared again.
I have cancelled them for the third now and emailed the hotel and spg.com to be sure I avoid any penalty. Very strange indeed.
Has anyone else ever experienced something like this?

Both your reservations did reflect your three cancellations on 6th, 20th and 21st June respectively.
In situations like this, I would advise you to call your nearest Contact Center to verify once again that both reservations have been cancelled.
I would bring this up to my web assist team.

Thanks lurker II. I got a quick response back from spg.com ^ that they really had been cancelled so, everything is fine.
Any idea what would cause the reservations to 'reappear'?
