Oh well.....it's better than nothing.....especially if I don't have many stays over this period.

I got the 8 stays / 8,000 miles promo as well. Same promo as last quarter.
Unfortunately I'm staying more on nights last quarter and this one and can't be bothered with checking in and out of single hotels for the sake of a few thousand points. Not going to incentivise me to stay more or change my booking patterns for this quarter either.

I got a different version than anyone has reported so far and it is considerably less generous:

Earn up to 3,500 bonus Starpoints® — earn 500 bonus Starpoints per eligible stay for the first five stays and 1,000 Starpoints with your fifth stay. In itself, this bonus equals a free night in Starwood's Category 1 and 2 hotels.
This is a particularly strange offer to be targeted for since I already requalified for Platinum long ago.
Receive double credit for eligible stays or nights to keep valuable elite privileges like earning Free Night Awards faster. Get closer to the number you need annually to maintain Gold or Platinum status (10 stays or 25 nights for Gold; 25 stays or 50 nights for Platinum).
