Are there any Starwood properties with over water bungalows, other than Maldives, Bora Bora, and Tahiti?
Thanks.
Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, this covers them all...
Bora Bora Nui Resort and Spa
St Regis Resort, Bora Bora
Le Méridien Bora Bora
Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa
Sheraton Hotel Tahiti
Le Méridien Tahiti
W Retreat & Spa - Maldives
Le Méridien Port Vila Resort & Casino (Vanuatu)
Le Méridien Ile des Pins (New Caledonia) -- "Four cliff-top bungalows are located on the top of the rock, with private stairs for direct access to the lagoon." (Not really overwater.)

There are clearly not overwater bungalows at this fantastic property. Nouvelle Caledonie has some overwater bungalows on the mainland at non SPG properties.

Can anyone recommend a Starwood with water bungalows please?
A colleague has done me a huge, huge favour.......I want to thank her with a gift, a trip to someplace.....and would prefer to pay for it in Starpoints (yes, I know I'm cheap). She would like to go somewhere where there are water bungalows. She doesn't care about anything else whatsoever, except that it shouldn't be more than a 12 hour flight away (from London) as she only has 7 days available to take off.....she doesn't want to waste so much of her time off flying to someplace such as Bora Bora. Country/resort/facilities are not important in any way....she just wants a water bungalow.
So, does anyone know of a Starwood either off the coast of Africa, or someplace in Asia which would fit the bill?
Thanks!

At 90,000 - 125,000 *points PER NIGHT, she better have done a really huge favor to get to go to W Maldives.
Also in Maldives, the new Sheraton Full Moon has OWBs, although I'm not sure if they are directly bookable with points (I know upgrading to beach bungalows is a 5,000/night upgrade for total of 25,000/night)

Adding to the suggestion by member wlciii, you might like to ring up your nearest Contact Center or Platinum Concierge to find out if this Category 6 property has any standard suite awards and the number of points(no high or low season) needed per night.
Do take note that there is a minimum length of stay for both properties in Maldives.

Definitely no over-water bungalows at Le Méridien Nouméa, and the beach isn't very nice either. But there is a large pool and free internet. There is a $10 charge for use of a chair with mattress and a towel at the pool. At least that's what the sign says -- I didn't actually try.
