Double stays sure, but double nights?

Hi kids,

So I've seen/read about the double stays promo that SPG has, now here's a question. Does the double stay provide double nights too? or instead is there or has there ever been a double nights promo?

Thanks

Yes, there is really no other way for this to be interpreted. The database is going to double both the stays and the nights because they are inexorably intertwined from a technical standpoint.

William, what happens if I have booked two rooms for two night under my name for family, paid for both the rooms on my credit card at check-out, and am registered for the "double stay" promotion. Do I get credit for four stays (2 rooms, one stay each room, times two for "double stay" promotion) and credit for eight nights ( two nights each room, times two for 'double stay" promotion)?

You can generally only get credit for 1 of the stays, even if you're name is on 2 different room bookings. I'm quite sure there is nothing about this promo that would change that.

As pointed out above, it is supposed to only be credited as one stay, which will be doubled if it qualifies for Stays Count Double. However, YMMV.
