I saw 2 friends post on fb that they were in house for the opening day.
The picture of the pool looked weird, as if they have loungers along a walkway/stairway that don't even overlook the pool.
Reports are of great service. Good impression so far, from their comments.

Bascially if you are into W hotels you will love the W Bangkok and if you're not, then possibly this hotel might not change your mind
Hard to see it as anything apart from a positive addition to SPG Bangkok and I think this W suits the city very well
Of course most here will care mostly about how they treat elites. If they continue the Bangkok Starwood tradition of treating their elites very well then I suspect they will do very well
The pool does have some loungers without a view of the pool
The first day was great fun!

At the front desk. They said no corner suits available even for purchase at 4:30pm. I went online and they had availability. I booked it to prove that it was available and *BAM* they front desk guy said "I am very sorry. I can see there is one that just opened up." Strange. I'll up the video when I get to my room.
