How generous are they for gold member?

Will Sheraton huahin chaam give you an ocean front room, if you book a garden view room? since one of the gold benefits is enhanced room which i believe is a room upgrade to a preferred view not including suite. (garden view to ocean view)

As there are no "club rooms" bookable per se, you might want to contact the property directly. If you enjoy swimming the pool access rooms (now known as deluxe lagoon access rooms) are quite nice. Ocean front rooms are not that special and, depending on which wing you end up in, can be rather disappointing if you get a view of the restaurant across.

The club is nice for desserts etc. Breakfast was forgettable, though.

When i was gold IIRC they give garden terrace (1 category up from garden view) didn't need to go upstairs for garden view

I'm not sure about it if sheraton club promo still running.
It cost only 1000 *point.
and extra club charge cost 1xxx thb IIRC.
I recommend to book ocean room or lagoon acess room with club if you really need club access.
Signature of Sheraton Huahin is lagoon access room.

Can anyone advise how to get to the hotel if taking the Airport Bus from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hua Hin.

It has a drop off point enroute to Hua Hin:

Drop-off point: 1. Hua Hin Bus Station

2. Bus Stop in front of Bangkok Bank at Cha-am intersection

Which one is easier to get to the hotel?

Thanks.

I am here now and thought I would post a mini report.

This is I think my 4th or 5th time here. It is a great Hotel as long as you remember its countryside Thailand. Rooms are nice, we were upgraded to an ocean view suite , food is good, Luna Lania I really like. Staff are mostly friendly and want to help. a few are rather challenged such as the lady at breakfast, when I asked for some Mango advised me to go an buy some !! But when in Thailand and something is not right, just smile, aske someone else and guess what...no problem.

They moved the lounge downstairs which I was not happy about, but actually much better food on offer, if drinks a little more limited.

A great place to relax, now off for a few days at Pranburi Villas before back here again for a week, then BKK to finish off the trip at my favourite hotel in the world, the SGS.

Me too. but you can feel same thing(old club menu) on pranburi.
IMO they move old club menu to pranburi.
More than 50% of staff at pranburi come from sixsense.

The Club Lounge is currently being expanded. It is set to open on Thursday (9th of Sep 14)
The old pantry shop has been moved upstairs and the space used to expand the club lounge.
It will be much more attractive than before with more space just like a proper club lounge.
The food and drinks offerings are also better than before.

Not sure why Britinjapan has complaints about the food at the Pranburi villas. I was always very happy there. The second restaurant there will be added soon.

The food WAS very good, I think we can agree but the chef moved to Hua Hin and when we were there it was terrible, and it seems well known as we were always almost the only ones eating, things have changed unfortunately but they know it and are getting help
