I stayed at a non-starwood last week and was shocked when I turned on the tv and the loud piano music wasn't there

If SPGTV makes you feel "at home," then you're spending too much time in hotels.

I’m sure this will make me sound pretty lame but I gotta say that I often find myself watching it when I’m in the hotel for a good ten minutes looking at all of the places I’ve stayed and/or wish to go to.
I’ve also tried the stretching exercise just before falling asleep ^ ^

Have I have seen this segment before? Starwood openly advertises how dogs are welcome with their owners to some properties? Yes, SPGTV is entertaining maybe for about two minutes...

I find that SPGTV offers a better view than some of the airport hotels I have been in.

Spg Tv?

maybe i'm losing it - but SPG TV at the Sheraton Taipei was a continuous promo plug about the SPG program about more rewards, no blackouts, more choice, blah de blah which runs on a reel and lasts for 5 minutes and repeats itself again, and again, and again....

Do the programmes vary with different regions ?

I am currently doing several mattress-run around Malaysia and Thailand, and they seem to be featuring only Vietnam and Hong Kong for the past few weeks, apart from the usual feature on wine (which has been running for years) and UNICEF.

I think the programs are the same for all the regions

If you like it so much, just tape it and bring it home so you play it on a continuous loop from your VCR. Makes you feel like you are staying at a Starwood property everyday (though I do question why anybody would want that feeling).

SPG TV Advertises Planet Hollywood in LAS

Well, my wife and I usually spend half of our awake TV time in our room at Starwood Hotels watching SPG TV. This past weekend at the Rockville MD Sheraton and a couple of weeks ago at a property in South American, the SPG Channel carried a 5 minute promo about the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. It made me think that the ph had decided to return to Starwood after an absence of 15 months, but when I checked the directory of hotels to book, no such luck.

Starwood needs to update their In Hotel channel, as they are losing the chance to market properties to my wife (and myself?). My wife agrees with Luftbgy, as she has told me she would like this channel at home. Too bad that pd in Las Vegas has not come back.
