We have a travel company that books the work travel.........I will assume I will have to update them with my new SPG number? ....or when they use that old number will the hotel/system automatically be aware of the new number when it receives the old one?
....just trying to think if there is anything else I need to change?

I'm just curious of everyone else is getting more or less the same results?
I currently have my new SPG number but cannot log into SPG website. It says it is currently unavailable.
When I log into Marriott the points look like they changed over successfully X 3. All my SPG stays have transferred over as they are showing up but I had 2 MAR stays that are not showing up and one is very soon. Do I just wait it out? So in essence all my SPG reservations are showing up but my MAR reservations have disappeared.

I have not tried to login thru the web, as the apps are more convenient for me.

I know many of us are not showing the correct amount of nights and points. I just noticed on the activity page above activity there is a link that states
"view previous SPG activity(prior to 8/18/2018)" If I click on that link it shows all the night and points I am missing. Good to know they are showing us they have records of the latest stays. Smart on their part.

I tried to log onto my SPG account and cannot. When I am directed to my Marriott account all of my SPG points are gone. I have a reward stay at the Sheraton in San Juan Nov. 30 and it is gone. How do I verify that I actually have the reservation? How do I get my SPG points back as showing? I have 150K and hope they didn't just disappear.

Switched from safari to firefox. That didn't work. My SPG account is completely gone, cannot even log into it as it goes over to Marriott. and my Marriott account has no pints and no reward reservations showing. Now what?

If you haven't, try that?
If you don't have that handy, do you have your prior SPG member number saved in a password vault like Lastpass, on your email (e.g. Gmail), or anywhere else (e.g. third party travel agency like Travelocity or corporate TA)?

Are you attempting to log in with your SPG member number?

I am trying to log into SPG with my old number and password. Nothing. I log into my Marriott account with that number, nothing. All I see is my name. I have no points, no upcoming trips. There is nothing I can see to merge the accounts which I had already done. I will email Marriott customer service and see if they can figure it out. In the meantime, should I call the Sheraton San Juan to confirm that I still have a valid reservation? Calling Marriott is useless as I am on hold for over 15 minutes and don't have time to wait.
If not, you'll probably need to wait on Marriott customer service for help, and may want to call the hotel front desk individually to make sure your reservation is still intact.

Have you tried to reset the password using your old SPG member number? Some people have reported that as fixing login to their SPG account.

I contacted the Marriott Support Team about my SPG account being inaccessible, and they just blew me off saying they were aware there were issues with the site. I guess those of us with difficulties will have to wait until they confirm that all accounts are working fine before emailing...

My observation is that if you want to view both of your accounts to compare data, you should use different browsers.
if you log into SPG in one tab, open a new tab and log into MR, then refresh the original SPG tab, it will now show your MR information.
Web coding circa 2005. I did this for 25+ years - I'd fire my team if they coded this.

On the other hand, I am astonished at all the people on here who thought their SPG and Marriott accounts were going to be automatically combined this weekend and are complaining about that. I am sure that if they all piped down we would have a better view of the success or otherwise of the effort this weekend.
