Hi,

On this date I dined at (restaurant) at (property) and have not received any points credit in my account. I have attached copies of the receipt. Thank you for your assistance.

SPG# (yours)

Takes a week or so to hear back, usually they send a reply email confirming the points.

Good luck!
Thank you!!!

I followed your approach and received an email back in 3 or 4 days crediting the points. I even received the platinum bonus!

And thanks to the SPGers as well all figure out how to navigate and maximize the new program!

Going to have to back-track on this, apparently. I am now told, "Members dining at SPG hotels (and MR hotels in AP) will earn for their out of stay dining."

Any update on this? The spg cravings website is gone with no listing of spg restaurants.
Do the SPG member discounts still apply?

Earn points at all SPG/Marriott/RC restaurants without staying

Here we are. Definitive proof that we can now earn discount and points for eating at all SPG/Marriott/RC hotel restaurants. There’s a new web site promoting it:

https://marriottmembersdinemore.com/en

And it works. Yesterday I had brunch at the Ritz Carlton Macau. At the end of the meal they proactively asked if I had membership. I gave them my new Platinum Premier SPG number. I got 20% discount off the bill and they completed a manual points receipt. This receipt is like SPG hotels used to do but it has all three loyalty logos on it.

Points haven’t posted yet of course but the staff were clearly trained about this new benefit and they have the collaterals to execute it. At a Ritz Carlton no less.

It seems to be working, although only in Asia Pacific. I wonder if hotels in other regions will follow.

I got 20% and points at Sherato Grand in Shanghai two days ago when not staying. New slips have all logos rather than just,SPG

I have an SPG property meal from two weeks ago that hasn't posted yet. I'll give it another week, then I'll send a note to corporate. I have my paper receipt and the CC statement.

Doesn't the terms and conditions of membership already address this question?

"2.1.b. Qualifying Charges.Qualifying Charges” are:
ii. Charges incurred by the Member, without a stay in a guest room, for food and beverage (excluding alcoholic beverage where prohibited by law) at restaurants located within or adjacent to Participating Properties that offer this benefit if:

A. the restaurant permits guests to charge food and beverages on their folios;

B. the charges are greater than $10 U.S. dollars (excluding taxes, service charges, and gratuities);

C. the food and beverages are not in connection with a banquet, meeting or other function that is excluded from Qualifying Charges as provided in Section 2.1.b. and

provided the Member provides his/her Membership Number at the time of payment. Elite bonus Points will not be awarded on charges incurred by the Member without a stay in a guest room under Section 2.1.b(ii). Earning at restaurants without a stay is offered at all Participating Properties and Brands, except for Marriott Executive Apartments and ExecuStay, in Asia, Australia, and the Pacific Islands, as well as at the following Participating Properties and Brands in United States, Canada, Europe, Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, South America, Middle East, and Africa: St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, W, Sheraton, Le Méridien, Westin, Tribute Portfolio, Four Points, Aloft Hotels, and Element;"

So, Starwood Lurker(s): when they guy was trying to "find me" in the computer when trying do to this (and knowing I wasn't a current guest) I tried my old SPG number, my new (8/18) SPG number and my MR number and neither came up in the computer (nor via name, IIRC). When we did the paper copies I put my MR number in there (as that's supposed to be the one number to use now).

I haven't seen my credit yet, and I was at the restaurant (Urban Farmer at The Nines PDX) on 11/14. Who do I turn to now- the missing stay form, or some other remedy?
