Best Cash Back sites for buying SPG Points OR booking SPG Hotels?

There are so many out there. Anyone have suggestions for best (highest payback present) or easiest to use (user friendly/fast pay).

TIA

Don't drive yourself crazy. Starwood will pay the same affiliate marketing commission to everybody. Starwood also comes and goes in my experience - who knows post-merger.

Just pick one of the major cashback websites as they're more likely to be user friendly and actually pay out...

Sadly, the exclusions make cash back almost worthless at Starwood. It won't pay out on Member SPG rates or AAA (or of course corp). Oftentimes these are the lowest rates. So it only works for standard prepaid. If that's what you're booking you can save 2% cb. I find myself rarely booking lowest prepaid and instead booking lowest SPG Member flexible which is not eligible for cb.

Yeah. Best Rate Guarantees also invalidate the cashback.

Ironically, that's probably a better policy than Hilton's in-your-face 1% for Honors members and a higher % for non-members.

MrRebates offers 2% for Gold & Diamond Members. Personally I think the strategy makes sense - why give cashback to people that already know about and book you direct? It's meant to bring in new business, not cut margins on old.

Given the choice between 2% cash back or 25% off for BRG, I know which one I'd take.

Don't lose sight of the forest for the trees.

You can check the Cashback Monitor website to see which program gives you the best cash back, and then pick from there. I have found a 2x-3x difference at times from popular merchants (macys, blomingdales, etc) between different programs.
