It's simply a dedicated team within Platinum Concierge. Probably derived from that team's email address: [email protected].

No difference. They do exactly the same thing. There really is no drama attached to this. If you notice, whenever I have asked someone to send an email to Platinum Concierge, I have given them that email address.

When was the Starwood Lurker function lost? I see William responding above - have you experienced a loss of service from the SL Team? I haven't noticed it.

OK, thanks. I'm familiar with Platinum Concierge but had never heard of Platinum Liaison.

Merger proper hasn't happened yet, and Marriott's FT account retreated pretty much entirely from FT in favor of promoting the discussions on their own online turf (Marriott Insider). So while no public indication confirming that Starwood Lurker will go away has been made yet, a lot of people strongly suspect/believe it it will inevitably happen.

Only time will tell though.

I certainly hope that the Starwood Lurkers continue in some form or another on FT after the programs become one. The info provided is always spot on, and getting help from the Lurkers was often the ONLY way to resolve a problem or answer a question that Iíve had over my years in SPG. William, in particular, has been VERY helpful. Thank you, William!
