"Update your email" - new Starriott

"Update your email" - new Starriott

When i clicked on the "Update your email" button from the new Marriott Members page, it prompted me to enter my email where my previous 10+yr login handle was.

Now when i log into SPG.com, it won't allow me to use that handle.... it's either email address or SPG #. (Insert sad face emoji here), i've had that handle forever - Anyone else experience similar?

I use different addresses for SPG & MR. I sure hope they are not planning anything that will require them to be the same or I may miss out. Or maybe jump ahead of them and take [email protected]. Marriott has taken exception from time to time with me having [email protected] sending me emails saying my email address was bad. Ummm...
