I couldn't find anywhere else to post this as the 'Promos' thread seem to be closed.

There's another Double Stays / Nights promo for stays between 1st Feb and 30th April in all SPG hotels. I am not sure if this is targeted or not but I saw it in my dashboard.

Wow - I actually qualified for this one! Too late for a recent stay that just posted, but that's life. Will be awesome if it combines with current quarterly promo.

Not geographically-based, and most offers are not generous.

This is the first targetted offer I've had in four years, but it's not worth it. 3,000 for every third stay (up to 9,000).

I got an offer, and am surprised I did. I just joined with SPG back in December and have only spent 2 nights (to get a free night cat 1-5 cert).
Mine is after 3 eligible stays earn a free night; up to 2 times (2 free nights cert 1-5). Coincidentally, I have 2 stays booked for the upcoming week. However, one is on the 1st free night cert (but hotel has a "resort fee" I'll still have to pay). I wonder if both stays will be counted towards this promotion as well as the other (earn 500 points after second stay)?

I wasn't targeted either. That said, I'll check back through the link a couple if times... a few years ago I wasn't initially targeted for a member exclusive offer, but when I tried again a few weeks later, an offer was there.

I'm listed as a Caribbean resident and am not eligible. It's fair enough - I was eligible for everything that came up last year.

Australia, P50, LTP. Nothing , as usual, have NEVER got an offer. The system sucks...big time ( but for me it simply means that I choose to stay elsewhere during the period of the promotion, other than for the nights prepaid). This is one aspect of the SPG program that is very poorly managed, IMO.
EDIT: For the sake of accuracy I should acknowledge that ,when I checked the dashboard , there was in fact an offer there ( double nights/stays). So, it doesn't come by email but rather just appears in the account without notification. I very rarely check the dashboard/promo place and only did so because the app no longer works on my ancient Ipad.
Whilst a beneficiary of this promo I still don't like the way it works.

I got the 1500 + 2500 point offer noted in #3 . I am a 25 stay U.S.-based Plat.

Darn it, I would have re-qualified for platinum by march with a double nights offer. those suite nights would have come in handy! :(

I'm pretty sure these targeted promos are based upon stay habits, trying to get you hooked like a drug pusher. When I last got a double nights promo it was when I had just missed qualifying for pt75 the year prior. Sure enough, with the double nights credits I made pt100 in late summer time that year, instead of making it towards the end of the year (or maybe not at all for all spg's computers knew ;) )

Loyaltylobby states that previous stays within the promo period are valid however the T&Cs state: Stays and nights consumed prior to the date upon which the Eligible Members register for the Promotion (the “Registration Date”) may not be applied to this Promotion

HK based PLT100. Got the 4,000 Starpoints bonus promotion. Better than nothing :rolleyes:

I haven't seen any retroactive credits for my stay that posted just as I learned about this bonus.
