Loyaltylobby states that previous stays within the promo period are valid however the T&Cs state: Stays and nights consumed prior to the date upon which the Eligible Members register for the Promotion (the “Registration Date”) may not be applied to this Promotion

US-based (at least my "home" address) PLT 50 and got 1500+2500 like many others. I was really hoping for a big one. I will have at least 5 paid stays for 15 nights between now and the end of April and could easily end up with 20-25 nights depending how work travel shakes out.
Still, 4000 is of course better than nothing!

Friend who is Gold received 2500 for first stay and 5000 for second stay! He's a Hilton guy, but I think he will be doing this promo!

Got double stays (so can't complain) but there's a twist in the story.
I had a one night stay on Feb 1 and for some reason it didn't post the next day (as it almost always does for me on SPG). I waited until Feb 4 and as it still hadn't posted I contacted the property. They realised they had made a mistake which led to the booking not being closed out properly and then added the stay and points credit. Almost immediately afterwards, I went to my SPG dashboard and saw the 2x offer. I then saw the bit in the T&Cs that says that stays consumed before registering do not count.
Drat! If I had just waited a while longer to tell the hotel...
The other interesting thing is that nobody seems to have been aware of this promo until Feb 4, but the qualifying period starts from Feb 1. That's when I found it on my dashboard. That's when LL posted about it. It's also the same date that it appeared on FT. It doesn't look like anyone else got wind of it earlier because if they had I can't imagine it would take more than 24 hours for the news to be up on FT.
