I'd rather get a quick denial than have the request linger and give a false sense of hope.

I got 9 minutes last week for a 2 night stay at W Hong Kong, asking to check in 1200 and check out 1500.

This was the first time in my life I actually tried using (and needing) Your24. Not very impressive. But this W treat me very well so I can't complain. Quite often I applied SNA, they denied / refunded the SNA and put me in a suite anyway.

They must just be expecting to be genuinely very busy that week. I see they have only twin beds in the 2 lowest categories now, all Kings sold out. So there's definitely a good reason for the Your24 not being possible.

9 minutes for me as well for a request i put in last week for an upcoming stay in nyc later this month....i asked for a 11am check-in at a property where i have a $76 a night brg rate....they are selling rooms for around $100 a night so i don't think they are anywhere close to being full as they claimed in their denial email....

i use this benefit quite often & get approved about 75% of the time....out of my 25% denials i still have a good success rate of being able to check-in early once i get to the property....

Apparently you can resubmit the request. Properties often want to play it conservative far in advance and they have to respond within I believe 24 hours. So it's easier for them to simply reject a request and move on. Suggest everyone resubmit like a week ahead of time and even the day before.

Your24 is just short of a scam to lure people into getting P75...

I knew better. Ended the year at 73 nights. Found Your24 to be mostly bait and switch. Almost all my requests last year were denied.

YMMV

Most of my Y24s have cleared

And - I'm guessing the bigger draw for most going for 75 is the bonus 4th point...probably earned me an extra 20,000 points this year having it

Agree. Fourth point was the big draw for me. Why someone would purposely avoid that is strange. Your24 is a bonus and I would also guess 3 out of 4 clear. I certainly submitted less than 10 of them last year out of 50+ stays (100+ nights) so not a major factor.

In my experience Your24 success highly depends on how far out your reservation is. There are lots of 12PM and late checkout requests in Hawaii so an early checkin may be tough and really hard to predict if your reservation is more than two weeks out. I would resubmit it a few days beforehand to see what you can get.
