Comments: Arrived super early (4:30 a.m.) and I didn't expect my room to be ready or for them to give it to me that early, but at check-in they offered to just modify my reservation to start on the 26th and then I could get it instantly, that seemed like a fair deal to me (since that night was still charged at the rate I originally booked) so I agreed and they immediately took my to a junior suite. Excellent recognition of status (they clearly explained all the benefits I'm entitled to and even gave me a printout of them). Extra Note, this was booked using the Citi Prestige 4th night free.

Comments: When I arrived at noon, was told that I could get the room I booked right away or an upgraded one in an hour, decided to wait and ended up getting a much larger room with a jacuzzi and larger TV (I saw the normal room since some friends of mine are also staying here and they got the traditional room so I was able to compare). The hotel wasn't great at recognizing status (they even gave me a gold SPG member key sleeve instead of platinum) but the value for the hotel is pretty good, location is great and I did get a nice room, so I'm calling it good. Extra Note: Booked this using the city prestige 4th night free benefit.
