Star Privilege Pacific Membership

I searched and came up with two threads but there haven't been updates since 2009/2010.
Contrary to reports, the website is still operational and updated 2017.

Asking specifically for the Australian programme that also covers New Caledonia. Planning extended stay in New Caledonia again at both Meridien properties and wonder if membership is worth it. The website does not display the membership fee. Instead they say they will call to explain details. Unsure if they will contact me here in Japan.

Hoping that someone might have a more up-to-date experience and appreciate any response. Thanks.

Thanks, I saw that. But even your last post there is from 2012. It is a helpful post, though. Thanks.

The current website is definitely updated and is at www.starprivilege.com.
I have been a member of Star Privilege Pacific since it replaced the older version and been well satisfied with the value. You can see the various benefits on the website, including the vouchers that come with the package. My understanding is they all or mostly apply to the Starwood hotels in Noumea.
The prime benefit, other than vouchers, is 10% off accommodation on most published rates, and 50% off food cost where two people dine. Other discounts apply for one person or more than two. There is also 15% off beverage costs.
I last renewed in December 2016, at a cost of $329.
I do have a contact at Starprivilege in Melbourne. Send me a PM should you wish to have his contact number.

Is there an alive version of the program for Asia or at least specifically for Thailand/Malaysia? Have found Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and Australian websites, but nothing of what I need.

Is the Starwood Luxury Privilege program different? How do I find an agent who can book it?

This program is now 'defunct' - all cards expired at the end of June 2018.

This story describes the merger with the Club Marriott program for historical purposes.
