Comments: Checkin was a half hour process but we ended up with a nice upgrade (four levels above room booked). Was recognized as "Gold" as I made the reservation months ago before I hit Platinum but was given the extra points option with no issue. Butler service was just okay but overall stay was perfection. The suite was beautiful and would stay here again without hesitation.

Comments: The amazing SR Florence comes through again with warm and welcoming service and a fabulous upgrade to a room with panoramic fireworks view. One of our very favorite hotels.

Comments: Managed to snag a room for 12k points on sold-out NYE night (cash rates were $1400+ AUD). Was happy to even just have a place to crash; but was upgraded to a suite. This was one of those stays where I didn't really care for an upgrade; but it's always appreciated.

Comments: Great suite-like room. It did not have a separate living room; but it was large, well-appointed, and exceeded my expectations from the Westin brand. I was very happy. I especially loved the large bathroom with floor-to-ceiling bay windows!

Comments: I'm only 1 day into my stay here but absolutely love the property. It's already my favorite Le Mridien. The Platinum recognition is fantastic; the breakfast and creative happy hour are incredible….but most of all the staff is some of the most friendly and proactive I've experienced anywhere. Wow. The suite itself is great—I understand it's a base level suite, but it's got everything I could hope for.

No issues at all if you walk on the west side of the street. Even walking back to the hotel from the Metropolitan Opera on NYE with all the roads closed off we just went to a barrier and showed our hotel key and they let us through.
