These multi stay bonuses really suck For one nighters that is :)

That's what kills me with these bonuses. So many of my stays are 1 night stays, like a couple weeks ago we popped up to Boston for work for 1 night, then back to NYC for 1. That's why I liked Hilton's Q1 promo because it was 2X on all stays. No hoops/min stays.

Dumb question likely--but if I already have a few stays booked during this period, they'll count towards the promo, correct? I wouldn't need to cancel and wait until May to reserve rooms?

will i earn the bonus points on multiple rooms booked at the same hotel on the same nights? I believe that you can get base points for up to 3 rooms a night?

Hoping this is the case, as I have several rooms booked over the weekend for a wedding I'm attending in June

Hi Rd3,
Yes, no need to cancel and re-book.

I think this is one of the better promos, too bad I have a few 1 nighters on points stay during that period.

wiki added, with a self-help link to determine 'Sheraton brand' hotels.

Love it - have a few stays that fall in this window. May 3rd marked and ready.

Tangent: you guys don't reckon that all of these bonus points promotions have anything to do with a potentially unsatisfactory conversion rate from Starpoints to Marriott points, do you? Load the SPG accounts up so it's less painful when the rollover happens?

Just a thought.

A point for the Lurkers : there's no definition of "Middle East" in the T&Cs or FAQs.

Previous promos have listed the Middle East countries. For the avoidance of doubt, could they be added here ? Are Israel and Algeria considered Middle East for this promo ?

I have a perfect stay of 2 nights, at a weekend in a Sheraton, right on the weekend before the promo starts. I feel like I am being teased :)

Decent enough promo though, so thanks for sharing.

I've often wondered if SPG look at my future bookings to determine the rules for these promos and make it so I get the least benefit.

11 stays during this period, only 2 two night stays and only 1 of those at a participating hotel.

Thanks for rewarding my loyalty SPG.

Another question,
If i am about to split 4 night stay with the first 2 nights are paid & the 3rd & 4th night with points (2 booking confirmation), would the paid stay part eligible for this promo?

UA-NYC Apr 14, 2016 6:01 am

William, can you let us know what % of properties are participating, out of curiosity?

IMO it's not that helpful to have the "who's participating" list when it's over 90% of the whole chain (I'm guessing). Would be easier to have the usual "who's NOT participating" list.

Or, if not - sort the US by state, it's painful to look at in its current form.

Thanks.

Hi richiezc,

Yes, up to 3 rooms.

Hi Oxon Flyer,

The answer is no, but we will have it added.

Thanks for pointing out.

There are 1,225 properties on the participating list, and 1,384 properties listed as bookable on the global directory.

Hi Ver Jaina,

It should be. As long as you have a reservation for a 2 nights eligible stay within the earning dates.
