Surprised neither the Sheraton Towers Singapore nor Sheraton Towers Hong Kong are participating in this promo.

Starwood clearly wants to promote the Sheraton brand - I would have thought all Sheraton hotels would have been participating by default. But in Singapore, the Sheraton is the only hotel not participating.

And for the regard, SGS in Bangkok is LC, not Sheraton, despite having Sheraton in its name.
William, would you confirm this, if you have a minute, please? Is SGS a Sheraton or an "all other brands...." for the purposes of this promotion?

I know the Park Towers is an LC but I cant find any reference to the Park Lane being an LC you sure it is? On BKK thats super lame - if something is called "Sheraton ...." it really should be a Sheraton!

In Hong Kong, the only hotel that *is* participating is Cyberport, way out of town.

However, for promos where hotels pay to play, it's not surprising that some properties think that they can attract enough guests withoout the promo. My understanding is that the few (generally not very good) promos that have had 100% participation were financed by Starwood.

This is sad.
It basically means no 3x bonus for Singapore nor Hong Kong.

In Singapore, IIRC both Westin and StR are participating. I would never stay in the Sheraton there due to the reports of musty rooms (and I'm not a fan of the location).

I think "way out of town" is a little unfair. It's only a 15 min / HK70 cab ride to Central, and they have a free hourly shuttle to the HK MTR Station. I've had positive experiences at this hotel.

Lurker: is it confirmed that the TST Sheraton Hotel & Towers isn't participating? Such a disappointment.

Hi Dr. HFH,

Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok is under Luxury Collection brand. Eligible stays at this hotel during promotion period will earn double Starpoints.

Christina, can you confirm if The Park Lane hotel in London is considered "Sheraton" for this promo?

Yes, both are participating, along with the W Sentosa, but you can't get the 3x Sheraton bonus on them.

I virtually "live" at the Sheraton Singapore. Yes, many rooms there smell musty to varying degrees, but that is common at a number of older hotels in Singapore (for example, the IC does as well). Its location is actually pretty good (a short 10min walk to Orchard Turn and right next to Downtown Line). Hence, I am extremely disappointed it is not part of this promotion, as the other three hotels are significantly more expensive.

I too try to steer my stays towards Sheraton Towers Singapore as it is usually the cheapest option
