It would be one bonus per stay regardless of how many weekends/weekend nights it crosses.

One question, can a weekend be split for two times the bonus? >1-night stay including Friday and >1 stay including the Saturday?

In addition, I would like to suggest if Sheraton Riyadh can be convinced to join in on this. It's a popular local property, which I assume might have driven them to opt out since they probably think they do not benefit from this promotion.

Agree and it is strange to me conceptually how this option to opt in or out is okay for the various SPG brands. They should either do a promo or don't across the board. Shame on Starwood for not enforcing this (shame on me for choosing the HK Sheraton for 12 nights )

How are you getting the BRG points?

Holy... the friday / saturday night 1000..

So if I have two stays in different hotels, one on Friday, one on Saturday, I should be golden?

Also, the extra 1000 points can be used with BRG 2000 points, right?

Staying at a sheraton on a weekend would be like.. 500 Plat Gift + 2000 BRG + 1000 Wknd + Triple points. Wow.

Meraki1990 & Sagi_: To earn 2 (1000 point) bonuses in the same weekend, you must arrive Thursday (or earlier,) check out of that hotel & into another on Sat., and stay there till Monday (or later!)
If in the Middle East, then Wed.--Fri.--Sun.

Am I correct by trying to stay Mon-Fri (5 nights) to collect the 1,000 point bonus, versus doing Mon-Thursday (4 nights) + Friday (1 night) without the bonus and just collect "2 stays" for qualification for next year, as I figure I will probably hit 50 nights before I hit 25 stays?

dont know if this has been answered already but what if i book 2 rooms for 2 nights including a weekend night. Will this trigger the 1k bonus 2 times ?

edit: i looked trough all posts and christina answered this already :]

The SPG "Your May eStatement, Redesigned" email, which has just dropped into my inbox, says :

"You’re not registered for our latest promotion. Don’t miss out. Register now >"

So I click the registration link, and :

"Welcome to SPG Dashboard
You’re registered for Triple Up — now sign in for more earning opportunities and your program stats"

I registered quite a few days ago, on the day registration opened. I would have gone back and found the registration email to confirm exactly how long it's been since I did register, but....

Would it be fine if I register on the day I check out?

That's what happened to me, checked out today and only remembered that I haven't registered and did so immediately.

Would I still get the 3x?

Take Two was posting right away, this - not so much :(
Completed a long stay (checking out on May 10th, so it should count)
and nothing...

My experience with the last promotion was that Friday check out has points posted next morning and followed by the bonus after a few hours...

...then it became the next day...and I think one even posted another day later...

My Friday check out posted on Saturday and the bonus posted on Sunday. As advertised, I started my stay before 5/9 and got the weekend bonus + 3x for all the nights!

Same here. I had three 2-night stays since 9th and all the stay points posted within 24 hours of checking out, but no "triple up" bonus yet. not even for the first stay (9-11th).

Although the terms and condition always say bonus points to be posted within 4 weeks, all the previous ones have posted within 48 hours max. Is there any reason yet to worry or contact anyone?

Registration is retroactive as long as it gets done by July 17, 2016. From the FAQ:

Will eligible stays or nights prior to registration count toward my earning?

Yes, as long as the Member registers by July 17, 2016, any eligible paid stay from May 9, 2016, through July 31, 2016, will count toward earning.
