I checked in on April 1, registered on April 4, and am checking out on April 7. Will I get the double bonus?

Except where it specifically mentions it isn't, these would be retroactive to the start of the offer, regardless of when you register, as long as you register before the registration date expires.

For instance, in the Double Stay/Nights offer, it says specifically, "Selected eligible members must register by June 1, 2016, 11:59 p.m. EST. Member will earn double elite qualifying nights and stays at any of the more than 1,300 SPG® participating properties between April 1, 2016, and June 30, 2016, but only after registration occurs. Promotion is not retroactive for nights/stays completed before registration."

If it says it isn't retroactive in the offer's T&C's, then it isn't. Otherwise, it will be.

My offer

Currently on a Plat Challenge which started FEB 1 and will be at 18 tomorrow. I just tried the promo and got this

Member can earn 4,000 bonus Starpoints® after fourth (4th) eligible paid stay, 4,000 bonus Starpoints after the eighth (8th) eligible paid stay, and 4,000 bonus Starpoints after the twelfth (12th) eligible paid stay. As part of this promotion, member may earn a maximum of 12,000 total bonus Starpoints for 12 eligible stays from April 1, 2016, through June 30, 2016.

So I will take advantage and the extra 12k points. I never qualify for these so yay me

Not sure if OP has the same offer I received, but the terms of my offer state:
"Member will earn double elite qualifying nights and stays at any of the more than 1,300 SPG® participating properties between April 1, 2016, and June 30, 2016, but only after registration occurs. Promotion is not retroactive for nights/stays completed before registration."

I interpret that to mean if someone registers at the deadline of June 1st, their stays from April and May would not count?

Thanks. I clarified this in the previous post. As far as I know, all offers are retroactive unless it specifically states it in the T&C's.

Strange, T&C of my offer are:

Eligible member must register by June 1, 20166, 11:59 p.m. EST. Member can earn 4,000 bonus Starpoints® after fourth (4th) eligible paid stay, 4,000 bonus Starpoints after the eighth (8th) eligible paid stay, and 4,000 bonus Starpoints after the twelfth (12th) eligible paid stay. As part of this promotion, member may earn a maximum of 12,000 total bonus Starpoints for 12 eligible stays from April 1, 2016, through June 30, 2016 (the "promotion period"). This promotion is not transferable. Bookings made prior to the promotion period are eligible, but only eligible stays consumed during the promotion period will earn a bonus.

These T&C do match with Lurker's statement about retroactivity.

I got an offer I didn't see already posted:

1 Category 1-5 night after 2nd stay
1 Category 1-5 night after 3rd stay
1 Category 1-5 night after 4th stay
Total 3 possible free nights

I had one SPG stay last year. This year I have none so far, but I just applied for the SPG credit card.

Another promo I'm not eligible for.

They'd be more likely to force me to book their properties if they'd include me. Nonetheless, I tend to book them any way, which is probably why I don't get targeted.

Thanks. So does that mean that I will get double credit only for the nights of the 4th, 5th, and 6th?

That's not the way I read it. The promotion is good beginning April 1st, the alleged first night of your stay. You registered on April 5th (I checked this). The stay hasn't been posted yet, so I think all of the nights of your stay and the stay itself are going to be doubled.
