Official Announcement
American Express and Starwood enhance cobrand credit card benefits

Will the additional cardholders on my Starwood Business Amex account get access to the Sheraton Club lounge? What about guests in additional rooms I'm also paying for?
"This benefit is for Basic Card Members only on Starpoint Eligible Rate reservations...Sheraton Club lounge access is limited to the eligible Card Member and a guest staying in the same room for the duration of the stay, regardless of how many rooms have been reserved." (See Starwood FAQs.)

Which hotel brands with the Sheraton name will offer the lounge benefit?The benefit is offered at all Sheraton-branded properties, including Sheraton Grand hotels, with the exception of any Luxury Collection property. It is not available at Four Points by Sheraton hotels.

Club access if I book my stay with points or cash+points?
Per Starwood Lurker, yes.

As with my upcoming stay at the Sheraton AMS, I always email the property directly to get a written confirmation concerning club access.

I wouldn't recommend doing this too early in advance of check-in, however. They aren't going to get the service codes that identify you as being eligible until a few days before you check in.

Some lounges do not allow children. At least the Sheraton Tel-Aviv, there may be others.

Is there any card for UK residents that gives Club room access...I am lifetime gold and had Platinum a couple of times but unfortunately dont travel as much to places with SPG properties nowadays so it is difficult to rack up enough to achieve Platinum but would really like a way to get club access for the 20 or so nights I will likely do this year.

Heading to London Heathrow Sheraton Skyline and would like club lounge access with my Amex SPG Business. It does not appear on the list of Sheraton's with clubs. Could someone advise? Also, has anyone checked in here and requested this access with SPG Biz?

I don't recall the evening appetizer times as being surprising, but I do remember noticing that the wine is left out throughout the period from at least mid-afternoon through evening.

Good to know. I'm a wine drinker. I'll be there by 6 PM, I imagine, so hopefully will have time for a snack and a few drinks.

@Starwood Lurker,

Does Sheraton Hokkaido Kiroro Resort offer club lounge access for SPG biz card holders? I see they have a club lounge, but the property is not listed on sheratonclubroom.com.

Thx

If they have a Sheraton Club Lounge, they are participating. For a property to appear on the Sheraton Club microsite, they have to take action that, apparently, some properties choose not to do, so that is not the best indicator.

Followup: I just returned from a stay at the Sheraton Miyako Tokyo and they do indeed give access to the club with the SPG Amex Business card. Lovely club!
