I ran a search, but I don't see any forums on this Hotel in Mexico. Supposedly this Hotel is 180Kilometers from the Puerto Vallarta airport, it this the closest?? Can I take a taxi this far??

I actually just stayed at the resort. It's a wonderful experience. We actually flew into Puerto Vallarta and it was a 3 hour drive away. You don't really want to take a taxi- it will be over $200. It's actually a fun ride- you should just rent a car. Otherwise, if you fly into the Manzanillo airport- you are only about 30-45 minutes away from the property and the property would probably pick you up.
The actual resort is gorgeous. There are 29 villas. You are sort of stuck at the resort- there's not really much nearby. If you like lounging, golf and tennis you should be ok.
The restaurant is excellent. The one issue with the property is that there are many raccoons roaming around. If you're not comfortable with animals this place is not for you.
Have a great time.

ne14snow, you seem destined to have to rent a car and drive in Mexico. Hopefully the "dreaded Mexican bus" doesn't catch up to you.

Ive got the bus system down in downtown Puerto Vallarta, and its not bad at all in the hotel zone in Cancun, but I admit it can get a little scarey on the outskirts of town or if you have no clue where you are......

I didn't find the racoons a problem here, but the noise coming out of Thrill123's room at night was a little disturbing.
