+1. This.

However, unsure how will it be counted towards this upcoming promo.

But in the past, where 5 nights nets 1000 points, the multiple rooms did count towards the 5 nights mark.

The Four Points by Sheraton brand of hotels and resorts is an entirely separate brand from Sheraton.

I hope that helps.

For me, that's the second promo with zilch value in a row. I have family and three kids, and the last thing I want to see on weekends is a hotel from the inside.
Why on earth do you start a weekend related promo again?

Thanks for your post.

The promotion is eligible for Standard Rooms only, therefore an all suites hotel does not participate.

Feel free to email or send a PM in case you have further questions.

Lol. For the purpose of this promotion, it is Four Points, Not Sheraton!

Hi nongsom,

As William replied previously, any properties that are not eligible for earning and/or redemption in this promotion will be explicitly highlighted in the Terms and Conditions once the promotion goes live.

When are the T&Cs published, or at least the list of non-participating properties? Thanks.

William, isn't the question actually about the three free weekend nights we will ultimately receive after 15 paid nights? Will those qualify for status?

Firstly, Thanks... this is a good promo that actually challenges you to stay more. I will go out of my way to do 15 nights during this period. I will then redeem the nights at a 12k-16k point Sheraton for a value of 36-48,000 points. Good stuff. Le Centre Sheraton in Montreal is calling my name.

Secondly, I hate to be "that guy" but I have a stay on the books for 7/5 - 7/11 already book. What part of the stay, if any, counts toward the promo?

This is good news.

My apologies if I read the question incorrectly, but I found this in the SPG Terms and Conditions of membership related to SPG Promotional Awards:

"5.2.c. If an SPG Member redeems an SPG Promotion Rewards that include free nights (e.g., Free Weekend Night Awards, Free Resort Night Awards) for up to three guest rooms on the same date at the same SPG Participating Hotel after October 1, 2011, he/she will earn Eligible Nights and Eligible Stays for such rooms for purposes of earning Elite Preferred Guest Membership Status, SPG Lifetime Gold Status and SPG Lifetime Platinum Status if the SPG Member stays in one of the rooms; however, such nights and stays will not count towards achieving any milestones required to obtain another SPG Promotion Reward.
5.2.d. If any SPG Promotion Rewards include bonus Eligible Nights or Eligible Stays, such Eligible Nights or Eligible Stays will only count towards such SPG Member earning Elite Preferred Guest Membership Status, but will not count towards such SPG Member earning SPG Lifetime Gold Status or SPG Lifetime Platinum Status or towards achieving any milestones required to obtain any other SPG Promotion Rewards."

So, it appears that, yes, they would.

My apologies, but more information will be made available closer to (perhaps even on) the day registration begins. Until then, we don't have any details we can share other than generalities already discussed.
