Talking 2016 Platinum Requalification Roll Call

Looks like this thread hasn't been started yet for this year (2015 qualifiers towards 2016 status).

In fact, I couldn't find the thread for last year either (although my search skills leave a bit to be desired). In 2013 LetsGoToo nailed Platinum on Feb 26! Now that's something.

I just attained Platinum 50 (54 nights total so far)... so I'm all set through Feb 2017 now. Wow that seems far away.

On the easy road to attaining Ambassador level for the 3rd straight year. Really wish Starwood would start a level past 100... otherwise I'll just continue to shift to Hilton and go for Diamond once I get to 100ish.

Anyone else re-qualify yet?

Requalified about 3 weeks ago on stays. Feeling confident that I'll retain at least Platinum 75 this year and probably a decent shot at Platinum 100. Most importantly, finally qualified for Lifetime Platinum so no need to worry about annual qualification any more!

2016 Platinum Requalification Roll Call

Feb 26 was my bell ringer this year. Also now Lifetime Platinum, so this will be my last post to a Platinum requalification thread.

Will easily make 50.

I'll be Lifetime Plat at the end of this year...even if I don't get to 50 nights.

Based on my pattern so far, I should get it by summer, still deciding after that should I try for Plat75/100 or try to get Hilton Diamonds. Then again Hilton Diamonds are so ordinary and not much better than Hilton Gold anyway....

My work are 90% in East Asia and it's very SPG heavy, so I will probably end up trying for Plat100, but so far from reading the forums here from other Plat100s, it is absolutely nothing special.....

Barely made Plat50 last year and renewal is looking unlikely this year.

Just curious what jobs you all do that you need to travel so much?

At 25 nights & should hit 50 in June. 100 likely again.

500 nights shortly! Too bad it's come in just 5.5 years...still a ways to go til LTP.

I definitely recommend Plat 75 - I very much like the Your24 benefit. So many times during International travel I show up very early or late due to flight times and this benefit is a big help.

As for Plat 100 - it's nice, but really depends on your Ambassador. I've had good, bad and average. I wouldn't chase it - but wouldn't avoid it either.

Oh and congrats to all the new LT Plats... I'm jealous! See ya in two years

I'll hit Plat 50 at the end of April. 75 should be a piece of cake, and have a chance at 100 for the first time.

50 is this wednesday night. 75 nights should be by memorial day, but depends on the next HGP promo

I would have hit 50 but couldn't pass up the Hyatt promo for 20 nights. Instead, I'll be hitting 50 end of April and likely still get to plat 100 unless I have to go to an area without an SPG property.

Definitely have had mediocre experiences from my ambassador so won't be going out of my way to hit 100.

Hit 50 nights in mid-Feb. Expecting to make Plat75 for the first time (indeed, this my first year as a Plat, full stop) later this year.

However, I don't really see the attraction of going for Ambassador (the long thread of mediocre-to-poor experiences definitely put me off).

I will be requalifying during my travel between 4/2 and 6/10.
Got a head start with SPG Amex credits.

But doesn't this forum said many hotels don't honor Yours24 benefits?

I bat about .500 on Y24, maybe a bit more. Still a decent benefit overall.

IMO the 4th point is the better benefit of Plat75.
