Grrr, I always feel left out of these because I'm too loyal to SPG (read: already locked in as a regular client and they don't need gimmicks to draw me back).

I wish they would throw some bones our way too, once in a while.

I just tried 10 different Australian members and nothing for any of them.

It's looking to me, based on very casual reading of this thread at different times, that many of us are being *punished* for either having already clearly requalified for our status level or for having already made a bunch of reservations for the promo period.

I don't know about that. I'm in my 2nd year as plat, 28 stays / 87 nights this year. Was offered 2 free Cat 1-5 nights after 4 stays and I'm already on my second stay within the promo period. Have 6 more stays booked through year-end that should close me out at 102 nights. This is the first time I've actually got in one one of these...usually get a rock and never win anything on the daily games either so finally something decent!

This kind of selective stuff is a throwback to the old pre-internet days :P. Nowadays every one shares every thing every time. There's no hiding it from the "ineligible" parties

I also got nothing. Currently Gold now with only 8 stays and 16 stays to date.

I just completed my Marriott Gold promotion to regain Gold with 12 nights. I guess Marriott is more generous to me.

Got offered 6000/120000/18000 for 6/12/18 stays. First time ever I got a targeted promo from SPG :-)

Does a stay with checkout on 11/03/2014 count ?
