That's certainly been my impression. Lifetime Platinum, almost 70 nights this year, wasn't targeted for any of the 5 "exclusive offers" - nor for a few earlier ones. Had plenty of promo's before I qualified as LTP.
Will continue to enjoy SPG benefits on personal stays, but will take nearly all business stays to Marriott next year. LT Gold there, will try to make it to LTP.

yes - and those also were not eligible for me apart the regular open ones. short of getting LTP and always staying there whenever possble, it seems *wood does not like me.
So I will just line upbwith MoreMiles! and give some of my money to other hotels. sad, but feeling overlooked after a complete year of promos and even nagging them about this early this year on one of their silly Facebook ads...

I had same offer, and within a week of signing up I had 3 x 1,000 pts added to my account. I had 3 stays the week of the promo, so I lucked out with timing.

No so. my wife has not stayed in SPG this year. Not eligible for program. i was offered 3k points after 3 stays. i did that while gaining plat for first time.

2 Free Nights Still State Expire 3/31/15
Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy. I'm told that the expiration date is December 31, 2015. We are looking into fixing the landing page to reflect the same date.
