Two Plat 50s or One Plat 100
It looks like a stay in Panama next week will take me to 100 nights this year. But I'm wondering: I mostly travel with my family and book 2 rooms. Would it make more sense to start booking one room under my wife (or son's) names, so that we would have two Plat 50 cards?
We would take a hit on bonus points for the initial nights as well as missing on the 75 plat bonus. However, we often have to pay for our 3 kids to get breakfast or lounge access with just one card. Thoughts.....?

Yeah IMO it would be better to have two plats in a family that big, at least you can get breakfast for four and 20 SNA's per year. But then someone has to start from scratch and they won't get those benefits for the first number of nights until they reach plat.

Do you find value in having an Ambassador?

if you have to book 2 rooms for most of your stays then having 2 plats in the family would definitely be a better option....

I think I would do a Plat 75 and one Plat 25. All you would miss out on is 10 SNAs. Personally I like the 4th point bonus and Your24 benefit of P75. I see no value in an ambassador.

You mean Gold 25? OP qualifies on nights, and 25 nights only gets you to Gold, not Platinum.

We always go with the trip
Absolutely good two platinum
For example
1.Promotion is limited to twice the available
2.When you stay with family or friends, can be a double platinum Benefit
3.Unexplained benefits (I did not speak English.).
But the most important reason for this is.
I'll tell you that you learn Korean

Wow. Thanks for all the great ideas/insight. For this year, I'm set for the 100 nights, so we'll see if the ambassador is any value at all.
Next year, I think I will target 2 Plat 50s. Maybe I can get a challenge deal for my wife, so she can at least start as a gold.
