Stayed here a couple of weeks ago with the wife on a major milestone celebration trip. Emailed manger in advance after booking a "premier room" on points and asked if it was possible to get us a room with a nice view and if not thats ok i know i am only gold. Boy did they and then some. Upgraded to a Executive Club level corner room with not 1, but 2 different awesome views. !t was the same views you see if you are at the pool of MBS area but we were a a few floors higher up on 43. The second looked further right to the pier where the cruise ships dock. Not only that but also a very nice welcome basket of fruit. I love fruit. We were really treated very well by everyone here. Loved the room and loved having views from our shower and tub as well. It was really more than I had hoped for. I cant overstate how nice the views were and how much nicer it made. I would lay there on the bed at night looking at the Flyer lit up. ,
I was told they recently added to, and changed up, the food items in the executive lounge. We were both really impressed by the offerings. The lattes and cappuccinos were great. Breakfast was huge and had a number of high quality and diverse options. It would easily be worth the extra money to get the executive club access here. I would highly recommend it. We saved a lot by eating there and then getting an afternoon snack and coffee. I had an excellent spa treatment here too. Not sure why this place does not get more love. I honestly could not find 1 thing to fault them on. The guys out front t were quick to help with a cab or bags and ensure they knew were to take you if there was a bit of a language barrier. When we checked out Dinesh even took the elevator down (from the lobby check in the 32 floor) with us to see us off all the way to the cab. I feel he went above and beyond. There are a few others I know I am forgetting but I am writing this after a little over 2 weeks in Asia and SIN was our first stop.
Not sure who at SPG (or is it Marriott?) that I can write a note to about Denish but i would like to.

Why not write to the manager you wrote to in the first place to thank him/her? At the same time, you can congratulate him/her on the outstanding staff, and the more names you can remember, the better! Well done!

We liked their coffee a lot too
Was it the Club breakfast or the restaurant breakfast? I always have my breakfast at the restaurant and the offerings were very good.
We also had lunches there and similarly, spread and view was outstanding.
Comparatively, the lounge breakfast was not that impressive but my last stay there was April (2017) so a lot might have changed.
Would like to return for another stay.
In fact, I like it here more that St Regis although St Regis wins for location.

Well I was wanting his GM or someone else above him at Corp to hear what a great job he is doing. Really impressed with him.

The warm items were at times spectacular, such as their truffle ravioli. More Asian warm choices had been made available by expanding to the area on the right where the desserts used to be. The desserts, moved to near the windows there the bread selection is at breakfast time, now include five or six choices instead of the earlier two. Truly dangerous for a sweet tooth like myself...
The flip side of the improvements was that the lounge seemed consistently more crowded than ever before. Unfortunately, "we are full at the moment" actually means that all tables might indeed be taken, even though many of the four-chair tables are occupied by just one person. In only one occasion did I notice two parties sharing a table - and a lively cheerful discussion following. I know this issue could hit any lounge anywhere, but maybe the staff, when they know the hotel occupancy is high, could ask arriving guests: "if we get full later on, would you mind sharing your table?"
In any case, great improvements ^

The food items have definitely seen significant improvements - "up to the Marriott standard" , we were told.

Really considering staying here next week. Currently booked at Conrad but with their renovation going on and the lack of recognition at the IC, I might give this Westin a try, and if not for all 4 nights, maybe for 2.

Both Conrad and Westin decent - I like Conrad location much more and had the pool club lounge access which I never used. Westin has nice suites and club lounge but breakfast not as good as Conrad's buffet one. I'd choose based on price and status needs... But really didn't like Westin location unless you there purely for financial distrcit. Conrad had good food and shopping nearby

Just finished a one-night stay here. Loved the pool. Breakfast in the lounge was fine. Did not like the afternoon spread and never managed to get to the evening spread. Overall I liked this hotel.
They also have some restaurant specials which might be interesting to some:

Had a really nice stay at the Westin Singapore last week.
Upgraded to a club corner room and early 10am checkin. No suites available as Singapore was mostly sold out last week and Westin was no different.
The pool is amazing and the gym is sufficient.
The lounge is better than I remembered from last year plus no kids under 12 allowed. Breakfast was good with cooked to order selections, not just eggs. Afternoon tea is forgettable with snacks and sweets. The dinner offering was spectacular. At least 4 hot dishes, plenty of cold dishes and seafood display on ice. Lots of liquor choices and of course fruits and desserts. Clearly enough for dinner however being in Singapore we ate out most of the nights.
Close to offices if you are the CBD area but accessible to the Downtown MRT station on the blue line.
Rates are getting up there but definitely a good choice in Singapore. Below is a copy of the lounge sheet. Notice that it’s generic and everyone above platinum will get the same

When I've stayed here in the past as a SPG Plat50 and was departing on a late evening flight, I was welcome to use the lounge after I had checked out of my room.

Still the case although they asked me to checkout by 12pm (since they were 100% the night of my checkout date) and gave me a key to use in the afternoon/evening. It was fine because I couldn’t get back before 4pm and they let me checkin at 10am. Stayed through happy hour and also took a shower in the gym before heading to the airport.
