24 & 28 Sep : Starwood & SPG Websites down : 'We're not on vacation'
Nothing seems to be working well tonight. Can't log into account either, it says "We're sorry, a system error is preventing us from continuing. Please try again later."

Now SPG is showing "We're not on vacation Just a quick getaway. Actually, we’re upgrading our system to serve you better. Some of our online services are temporarily unavailable, but will be back soon"
The agent mentioned they are expecting it to hopefully come back up in an hour or so. As the internal system is down as well agents cannot do any booking related transactions either.

When the website is down, why not give this information BEFORE one attempts to log in? It would be good to get the "we're not on vacation..." before wasting time entering the account number and password.

Is there a provision in the T&C to extend the auction in case of werbsite/internet failure? Otherwise SPG could lose money on a few of these auctions and give the items away for much less than what surely was expected. It could be interesting to see what happens.
