Post properties that participate in the SPG 'Make a Green Choice' program
 

Hi,

I thought it would be good to have a thread were we would list properties that participate (or do not participate) in the MAGC program.

I know that if I'm in town for a few days and have a choice between hotels, I do consider those extra points when making a selection.

Mods: A wiki on the top of the page would also be very useful.

I know that there is this thread:

But that has become more of a discussion on the program itself, rather than a good list.

Participating: YES/NO
How to participate (sign-up at check-in, card on door, ...)
Issues/Comments (e.g. points didn't post, ...)

This property is participating. But they aren't very knowledgeable of it. E.g. the sign would disappear from the door but no voucher. And then the sign would never be returned. I was there for 7 nights and had to continously go to the lounge clerk to get either the sign back or the voucher. But be persistent... in the end all points got posted :)

A couple of suggestions -
1) instead of making this a thread, make this a wiki
2) Only post properties that DO participate
optional 3) combine with some other list, e.g. table listing of breakfast benefit, magc

1) After posting, found out that I'm now able to make a wiki too (100+ posts). Will do. I think it's best if it's a combination as not everyone can edit the wiki.

2) I thought about that too but I think it might be useful to get a complete picture. E.g. immediately know if a property isn't participating. For my Vienna post, you now know that Imperial & Bristol aren't participating. If I had just posted Le Meridien, you wouldn't know about the other two.

3) Also thought about it but then it might be very hard to navigate...


EDIT: have now made the wiki. Same style as the Breakfast thread. What do you think?

Why have two threads?

Why not put the wiki at the top of the existing thread that you mentioned???

Too much crap on this board already.

Great thread - will prove very useful once filled out. I think we should add dates to the program too - so we know how recent the info is. I added a bunch.

I wouldn't exactly call this crap ;)

Thought it would be better to have a separate/clean thread but we can merge as well...

Thanks. A lot of people are posting about properties but not editing the wiki. Are you planning to maintain it? Would be helpful if everyone would add their findings directly into the wiki.
