But Russia isn't in AP when it comes to Starwood's divisions. India stands a better chance of meeting that qualification.

Who's arguing Im just pointing out some facts, Im sure Sberbank should know if they have a MasterCard that qualifies, my bank in Australia is regularly trying to upsell me one of these cards so they can collect the large annual fee.

You may book your reservation via Starwood websites, Customer Contact Center or SPG APP.

As long as it is an eligible stay in any of the participating hotels or resorts within the Asia Pacific region and you make full payment for the eligible stay and all services during the eligible stay with a World MasterCard, it will count against this promotion.

Thanks Starwood Luker III. So I don't need to book using the link in the email that no longer works? When I checked last it populated different rates than standard ones.

When I registered I received an email with a dedicated booking link. As I said, the link no longer works. I forwarded to the Luker email adress.

Hey at least you managed to register. I got a new WMC here in SIN from DBS for which they promote the 1-night Gold offer and the code they shared gets rejected by the Starwood sign-up page as invalid.

Calls to DBS customer service are not very "fruitful" as the agents so far don't even know about the promo (even though it is listed as a benefit of the card on their own banks website) and I had to spell Starwood for them so they could investigate which raised my confidence level tremendously.

Overall, I think the promotion is great as an idea, but execution via the multiple parties involved (SPD, Mastercard, Banks) is absolutely abysmal. YMMV

Hi I just registered for this deal with my new world mastercard. I had already prebooked/premaid for a stay at the Sheraton in Macau for July. Would this stay count towards my 1 stay to receive gold even if I booked before applying for the program?
