The Tote-ally Luxurious Resorts Giveaway

We wanted our Flyertalk members to know about the latest SPG Facebook contest, “The Tote-ally Luxurious Resorts Giveaway.” To celebrate the 2013 SPG Member Favorite Resorts List, and our collaboration with kate spade new york, we are giving away hundreds of tote bags plus the chance to win a dream getaway to your choice of Starwood resort.

For the next two weeks we will be posting images on Facebook of our kate spade new york exclusively for SPG totes at some of our Member Favorite Resort destinations.

Follow the link to tell us which resort is pictured for your chance to win. We know you (or your significant other) will look great in paradise! http://bit.ly/spgtotescontest

Best regards,

Thanks.

Question? Why is this facebook only? Some of us don't have facebook. You guys have a Google+ account (along with each brand having Google+ accounts), but never post using it. You also have twitter.

Is it possible to use all of the social media platforms and not just Facebook.

to be honest, most SPG promotions are exclusive to twitter and I don't have a twitter, so I don't see a problem with them finally making one FB exclusive.

+1 I never participate in FB promotions or contests and never will. Why not offer an alternate means of entry?

Alternative means of entry would be greatly appreciated. FB is not on my "like" list.

Finally a contest where there is only one entry per person. I never remember to enter multiple times so have the much of a lower chance to win.

I disagree. First, they're giving stuff away. Free. We have no right of access. Second, perhaps they are trying to test different vehicles for access, Twitter v. Facebook v. FT v. direct email, etc.

I think that a more appropriate response might have been, "Thanks, William!!"

So your issue is likely not with SPG.
