SPG romantic hat-trick

I've just completed my SPG romantic hat-trick:

Proposal in Sheraton Lombok
Getting married while staying in 4 points Bangkok
Honeymoon in Le Meridien Phuket

Excellent and memorable stays in all 3, including upgrades in each case.

Has anyone else done this?

Congratulations to you! I can't beat that, but I can scrape the bottom of the SPG barrel in part:

Proposal at Le Meridien Rio de Janeiro (now sadly departed)
Second night of married life at the Sheraton Heathrow
Honeymoon was not SPG based for us back then.

My wife still doesn't let me forget that our second married night after leaving the wedding venue was at the Sheraton Heathrow. What a way to kick off a honeymoon trip. They had even changed our booking to a twin room, which took about 15 minutes to get them to change back. 8 years later, we still end up staying there to be consistently disappointed. Like marriage really

May the pair of you enjoy many happy years of married life and travels ^

haha thanks for the wishes everyone.

I wasn't aiming to do that in advance, but as a Plat it made sense, as we like those hotels, the prices we got were very cheap, and there were other benefits like upgrades etc.

Two highlights for me were:
- amazing upgrade in Lombok - huge room with amazing view
- platinum breakfast in Phuket was out of this world - French champagne and parmesan cheese every morning

don't be too cynical - mario33 you'll like this, all of my flights for the above stays were on AirAsia, and they were all perfect, on time, hotseats, and extremely cheap compared to other airlines. Saved me a lot of money that I could spend on enhancing the marriage process.

Pas moi.

Proposed by Blackberry. (She responded she wasn't sure because she had a hair appointment that day.)

Married at home. (Our Great Dane was one of three 'witnesses'.)

Honeymooned at Bass Pro Shops that afternoon. (She was a cop, needed some bullets for practice shooting.)

How romantic was this?

We did head off to Planet Hollywood in Vegas (*wood at the time) a few days later.

Does that count?
