Oh...oh wow. I now need to reconcile my hatred of the NYC Le Parker Meridien with the love of what could be an obscene amount of Starpoints.

Agreed. Any obvious hopping partners to really bust this one out? :D

Wonder if this promo can be combined with this Travelzoo deal:
http://www.travelzoo.com/hotels/texa...rating=&tppct=

Of course, it can! Any rate that earns Starpoints qualifies. The Travelzoo link sends you DIRECTLY to the Le Méridien website, where you do the actual booking.

Fortunately, there are Le Méridien Hotels in Minneapolis, New York, and San Francisco - all places I travel to frequently.

I am a bit puzzled as to why the newly rebranded Le Meridien Mexico City is not a participant in this promotion since Mexico is indeed part of North America.

North American definition:
The northern continent of the Western Hemisphere, extending northward from the Colombia-Panama border and including Central America, Mexico, the islands of the Caribbean Sea, the United States, Canada, the Arctic Archipelago, and Greenland.

the shortcut link for at lemeridien.com/mexicocity no longer works as of 2 weeks ago for some reason as well.

The definition cited doesn't reflect the way Starwood delineates it's hotel divisions. Le Meridien Mexico City would be in the Latin American Division.

The resorts/hotels in French Polynesia fall into Starwood's North American Division. That is why they are participating in this offer.
