Very strange "package" from Sheraton Orlando North

Booked this:
Fitness Package
Fitness pacakge includes breakfast buffet for 2 people perroom per day and welcome fitness amenity that includes: gymbag, sport bottle, workout dvd and workout band.

Received:
Sheraton Orlando North Lunchbox with name "Minerva" written in blue ink, chips ahoy cookies and lay potato chips. Plastic travel spork.

I ate the chips ahoy and we need a travel spork so I actually kept (some of) it, but pretty much the opposite of what was advertised, huh.

So... what did they say when you asked them about it?

Cheers,

Cheers,
I didnt complain, I honest could give a (blank). I only booked because cheapest rate for my stay. Was going to use gym bag for laundry and I dont need a DVD to workout. Just thought it was pretty ironic that a fitness package ended up as a junk food lunchbox.

I would have been more likely to complain that I didnt receive the 2 bedroom, 2 bath 2 king bed suite I received last time I stayed there (and which was avaialble on SPG.com DOA). But I worked all night so made little difference anyway.

Was Minerva handwritten? Maybe the cleaner just left her lunchbox?

Surely the gym bag would be more valuable than the cookies, chips, and spork.

Did the front desk actually give the lunch box to you or was it left in your room? If the latter, it sounds like it wasn't a package amenity, but rather something unintentionally left behind by a previous guest/housekeeping.

Too funny!

Make sure you thoroughly wash that spork before using it for the first time!

Was handed a large blue "Sheraton Orlando North" blue bag at checkin but didnt look inside (it was zipped) until later. It was then I found the lunchbox, which was also a zipper blue "Sheraton Orlando North" item, except it had Minerva's name on it.

So the questions here prompted me to go talk to the front desk. Not to complain, but just to figure out what happened. The agent I spoke to was shocked, apparently Minerva works at the front desk and someone gave me her snackbox. The agent has her colleague run to the back to fetch the gym bag et al. and he returned panicked that they were locked up (it was late last evening, I'm checking out now). He asked if they could 'mail me the gym bag" and I told them they could save the postage and trouble and just ship me some starpoints instead.

So the Minerva mystery is solved (and sorry Minerva for eating your chips ahoy cookies but I was famished and working all night), and I will get some points for something that really didnt both me in the least. I do need to get a spork for my son now, though.
