And how many starpoints is Minerva getting for having her bag and lunch taken away? Sounds like compensation is due.

not just a reguiar spork.

I still want to know what's different about a travel spork from a regular spork. We need pictures!

Dear Starwood Lurkers. I am a platinum member and lifetime gold. How come I've never gotten a travel spork or even a travel spork offer from any Starwood property or SPG? I think I have enabled the appropriate travel spork preference in my profile to be able to receive info about travel sporks. If I had one, I would post a picture of it.

Why would you use/need a spork when not travelling? I have visions of your family sitting in the dining room eating their Sunday lunch with a Spork!

So to answer some questions:
(1) Havent heard from the property yet re: points. I'm going to call and demand my gym bag and DVD get overnighted if they dont credit some points soon.
(2) Travel spork was in an insulated tri fold thingie (like a cheaply insulated trifold padding) that had elastic bands on it so the thingie would essentially attach to the spork and then fold around the spork to keep it clean. I should have held on to it for dear life but I wasnt thinking clearly after devouring Minerva's Chips Ahoy cookies.

It's not the same, but apparently travel sporks are popular camping items. Here's a sad story about a travel spork: http://www.backpackwithbrock.com/blo...pork-farewell/

Does anyone have experience taking a spork in a carry-on? Any TSA issues?

Read the reviews of the Titanium Spork on Amazon. The reviews are sublime. This thread just keeps getting better.

All hail, Minerva!
