3 months in asia now.... there could be no worse promo for me.... switching my q1 stays to marriott where it is possible

I'm out. This is promo is a joke. This week in Vancouver it will be The Loden and the Fairmont Pacific Rim. The only reason to stay at the Westin Grand or the Sheraton Wall Centre was for SPG promos/enticements so perhaps in Spring/Summer with the Q2 promo.

Looks like this one may work better for domestic (U.S.) travelers given the extensive list of non-participating international properties. Not one of my usual hotels overseas is participating.

personally I dont believe SPG or any Hotel Program will ever beable to put out a promo that Everybody will say ^^ to.
Its gonna work for some and not for others, if occupancy % is way up then the bone will be that much less
just keep in mind that in the past those who tend to stay for more then 1 night would have posted a to a promo that wasnt based on more then 1 night stay
This new promo doesnt work for me and wont yield me a single extar SPG Pt, but Im happy they offer it to those who can gain from it

Good promo for me -- business travel in Canada and always 5+ nights same hotel.^ I'm not a hopper and so I don't like typical Q2 promos based on stays... Changing hotels every night defeats the purpose of comfort.
