Westin Grand Munich - Booked Deluxe room; upgraded to Bavarian-style suite. Great spa, lounge, and awesome free breakfast buffet for Plats in Zen restaurant.

Westin Diplomat - Booked a standard room and upgraded to a Corner Suite on the 31st floor. I love this place...not a bad way to end 2011 and start 2012!

maybe this doesn't belong here but its an upgrade nevertheless....my wife got a welcome back offer for a free weekend night if she completed one stay before 31st jan....so we booked a night at the sheraton new delhi on a low rate to take advantage of a free night that we could use at a more expensive property....i know the reservation manager at the property so she upgraded us to a club room with lounge benefits, even though the reservation was in my wife's name (preferred status)....
