Just another data point:
I had 3 stays under the promo, and 1,000 points posted about 3 weeks ago. The other day the other 2,000 posted without me having done anything.
An fyi to those who had 1,000 post but are waiting for more.

Still waiting here. I had 1000 points post on 10/18 but had 5000 pts worth of stays transact on my SPG account on 10/16. The other 4000 pts still have not posted.

I've had 8 stays at an Aloft during that period, and still have the confirmation email from signing up, but zero points deposited into my SW account

The one constant in those that have gone missing seems to be members changing to USAir as a Direct Deposit option, which drops their Southwest Rapid Rewards number off their SPG account. Without that, the points are never going to make it to Southwest without a bit of assistance.
