Our butler was newly trained, and we were her first guests. My first experience with a butler, but great at serving coffee (and good coffee) whenever we wanted :-)
We were given Fast Track for the airport upon check-out.

BKKLEE seems a little disappointment for St.Regis is opened on time for business.
I am the 1st guest of the hotel, also the 1st guest for the Astor suite. I'd say, the hotel is fully ready to open its door to the guest and the service is Super!
The hotel is prefect and I don't see the reason why someone is so upset to slanderous the hotel? Coz you didn't get what you expected for?
Here you go with some pic I taked in the nice suite

Can you comment a bit more on the Plat recognition issue?
- no upgrades, or with so few rooms open no reasonable likelihood of an upgrade?
- no complimentary breakfast?
- Internet?
- Gym?
- Lounge?
- Happy hour?
Are you happy to have had the stay, for the experience, or if you were me would you cancel your upcoming stay and divert to the SGS?
Thanks anson1023 for the photos - looks like a lovely suite. The corner bedroom with floor to ceiling glass seems especially delightful.

Based on the information in this thread, I have just canceled 2 reservations for this hotel.
I will wait until they sort out things like Platinum breakfast (like every other SPG Thailand hotel) and upgrade policy.

Perception is strong drug indeed. But, it does not always reflect the truth of a thing.

But, when we start adding things not mentioned in the Terms and Conditions of membership as being expected, then we get into the area of misperception.
Other than this, you can send an email to the property itself at [email protected] and probably get a reply faster than I can get one.

Open, but far from ready as reported by another other OP, including, but not limited to, needed and still to be completed construction (Iīll let the 1500+ of documented - by various professional enginers and architects - cases of lack of quality control and design flaws in the construction of this property as itīs all listed on the mahardlekluang blog speak for itself), but perhaps the red-shirts will return and re-utilize the soi side of the propertyas their showering and toilet once again (as they did last year when these terrorists took over the area)
[Misses:
No Platinum recognition apart from Welcome Amenity.
Pool area has no shade from afternoon sun.
Very small (27 table) restaurant; more kitchen than tables.
Limited, expensive (750 B) breakfast buffet.
Bridge to Skytrain not yet built.
