The Elite Thank You program ended on December 31, 2017. You have until June 30, 2018, to award your Thank You certificates to SPG associates.

A great way to say thanks -

You expect and deserve outstanding service from SPG®. So when an associate goes above and beyond to make your stay, it’s nice to have a special way to express your thanks.

That’s what Elite Thank You certificates are all about. Print yours now to make the day of every deserving SPG associate who receives one.

Remember: All SPG associates and customer care agents are eligible to receive Elite Thank You certificates. Enjoy giving them — and we’ll keep looking for ways to earn them.

From T&C :"however, the certificates cannot be used as a form of bribery or fraud, nor may the certificates be sold in any manner"

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is an Elite Thank You?

How do I get Elite Thank You certificates?
Please visit spg.com/elitethankyou to download and print your certificates.

Who is eligible to receive an Elite Thank You?
All Starwood associates in Customer Contact Centers or hotels that participate in the Starwood Preferred Guest® program are eligible, including but not limited to associates at the front desk, reservations line, concierge desk, bellhop service, restaurants, housekeeping, fitness centers, business centers and so forth. They were not sent in any year except this one. This year's were added to member kits. If your membership card came without them or no membership card arrived or you need extras, CSR's are standing by via email, chat or telephone.

Also worth noting is something William said a while back about these cards. There are very few opportunities that Starwood employees have to earn loyalty points with SPG promotions. This is one of those opportunities. The award is 500 points per code/card.

I gave one of mine during checkout at the Westin Paris and she knew what they were and was very appreciative. She had provided some great suggestions while I was staying there and actually had checked me in as well. I wondered how many employees actually get to use them.

I gave one to the restaurant manager of the Asian Restaurant, as well as the head Concierge of the Westin Palace Madrid who went above and beyond during the Pope's visit for WYD (which was a nightmare for getting around). The Concierge almost lit up when I gave it to him, and restaurant manager had no idea what it was, so I had to explain it.

Hi William:

I have never received this years membership kit or the cards. Gave up calling about a month ago. At that call was told they are running behind this year and to be patient. Got the same basic message each time I tried.

Take care

You might want to confirm that we have the correct mailing address on file for you then, because a membership kit was sent on February 18, 2011.

Does anyone ever use their plastic SPG PLT cards? I've been asked to show mine exactly as many times as I've been asked to show my AA PLT card. Never. I'd be interested to hear the circumstances in which the card was handy/useful/required.

Thanks for your post. I checked and my correct address is on file. The agent I spoke to today advises he will send. Pleased you noticed it was mailed. Have never been told this when I have called in the past. Take care.

I will email for some - I never got any. Or if I did, I didn't look closely enough in my membership materials. The bartender at my regular Starwood deserves them.

Just wonderin'...what kind of points do the employees get? I assume it's something besides the regular Starpoints that we get...

Starpoints don't come in different flavors, just different increments. In this case, 500.
