But seriously. If we can't find out q2/2011, can we at least get a sneak peak at q4 2012?

C'mon, Free Weekend Nights!
I am so geared up for free weekend nights!
I did it last year and happened to have a long trip to Asia that gave me 9 stays. I used the 3 weekend nights in New York at the W. It was fantastic.
I've already got a couple of trips planned this year to Asia around the same time of year, so hopefully I'll be able to rack up the stays to retain platinum level and get a few free weekend nights.

FWNs would bring Starwood a lot of business from me in Q2 . Short of that, a large chunk of starpoints per stay would be nice.

We are all Starwood Plats here, which means we have been doing this for a long time, and for many nights per year. Anyone who opts for points, over the WFN, is clearly disillusioned! It would take 2 YEARS (or more) to get the requisite 'promo bonus points" required for a 3-night stay, say, at the St. Regis Bahia Beach! I believe it's 25,000 points PER night!! Whereas, with the WFN, one could get a 3-night stay, with the qualifying nights earned for the promo. Starwood has received a tremendous amount of additional business with the Q2 promos, the past 2 years...and I for one hope they offer another WFN promo in Q2! Regards.

The problem is with the restrictions surrounding redemption. Points are significantly more flexible. Any evidence to support your assertion that "Starwood has recevied a tremendous amount of additional business with the Q2 promos..."?
